Yeezy Foam RNNR

In November 2019, Kanye West is in the midst of promoting his album Jesus Is King. To mark the occasion, Ye will be Travis Scott's surprise guest at his Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas. During his performance on Follow God, Yeezy Ye will reveal for the first time his Foam RNNR on his feet. Created in collaboration with the famous footwear designer, Steven Smith, this new avant-garde silhouette will make a lasting impression, with its futuristic silhouette that slightly resembles the shape of Yeezy 350 and Yeezy 380 but also thanks to its foam composition made from recycled seaweed grown on the 4,000-acre ranch purchased by Mr. West. Located in Wyoming, the ranch will be the new headquarters of Yeezy but will also be the place where Foams will be manufactured. The goal is that in the long term, all Ye's designs will be made in the United States to reduce the environmental impact of production in Asia and create jobs for local people. After the Yeezy 500 and the Yeezy 700the Foams embody the boundless creativity of the Chicago artist and illustrate the eco-system that Kanye creates along the way, between music, fashion and design. It will generate many reactions (positive or negative) like most of the Adidas Yeezy designs, but will also be at the origin of the new trend of mules/slippers with the return of Crocs and one-piece silhouettes (especially with the Yeezy Slides).

It all starts with the Ararat colorway for men and women. This is the first edition to be released in 2020. With its clean look, it will be a real success and will be coveted by sneakerheads around the world. This was followed by the Sand colorway, with its cream tones that strongly resembled the OG. At the same time, Adidas and Yeezy introduced the Mineral Blue with a midnight blue tint and the MX Clay Cream with a marble-like color gradient. The latter will be followed by other "mixed" versions with the MX Moon Gray, with creamy gray details, the MX Sand Grey with bluish spots and finally the MX Carbon which displayed a black base with pink and yellow spots. But the Foams will be mainly adored and coveted for its plain colors like the Vermilion. Released in October 2021, it echoed the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October of 2014, the latest model in collaboration with Nike of Kanye West. But as with the Yeezy QNTMYe's creative teams have favored more sober colors like the Sulfur with its yellow highlights, the Ochre which oscillates between beige and brown, the Mist and finally the Stone Sage. The Foam Runner goes with any outfit. Choose pants with a slightly oversized cut like denim, cargo or sweatpants/jogging.
