Specialized in afro-streetwear, the label House Château Rouge renews its collaboration with Jordan Brand. This time, Youssouf Fofana and his creative teams revisit MJ's second signature model. Inspired by the ties that bind different cultures, the Parisian brand offers us a premium version of the 1986 model.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro SP Maison Château Rouge United Youth National features a full grain leather upper in an off-white hue. Several embossed details enhance the upper and refer to scarification, an aesthetic custom found among severalWest African ethnicities. Brogue-style perforations surround the upper and accompany the triangular cutouts. The back and toe of the pair feature orange suede inserts inspired by the colors SBB. The whole ensemble rests on a beige speckle sole with a brown insole, customized in the manner of a commemorative loincloth(wax).
A true ode to the youth of the world, it is part of the collection United Youth National which promotes the history of the Franco-African community with inspirations from Chicago to Dakar via Paris!
